Description
Cascina del Colle - Duca Minimo - Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC is a red wine made from 100% Montepulciano grapes grown in the Abruzzo region of Italy. The grapes come from vineyards located at 121 meters above sea level with a northeast exposure. The soil is medium-textured, and the vines are trained using the Pergola Abruzzese (Tendone) system.
The wine is made using traditional methods, with fermentation taking place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine then matures for 4 months in stainless steel barrels before being bottled.
Duca Minimo is a medium-bodied wine with a ruby red color. It has aromas of red fruits, spices, and herbs. On the palate, it is dry, with firm tannins and good acidity. The wine is best served at a temperature of 18-20°C.
