Discover illy coffee in capsules for two different systems: original Iperespresso® capsules and aluminum capsules compatible with Nespresso® Original. These two formats are not interchangeable. Therefore, check the system designation of your machine before choosing your varieties.

Iperespresso®: classic roasts and single-origin coffees

In our Iperespresso® collection you will find Classico, Classico Lungo, Intenso, Forte, and Decaffeinato, as well as Arabica Selection from various countries of origin. The single packs contain 18 capsules. The tasting set with 90 Iperespresso® capsules contains five varieties of 18 pieces each.

Orzo and Orzo e Ginseng complement the Iperespresso range as barley-based drinks. They are naturally caffeine-free but contain gluten; Orzo e Ginseng also contains milk components. These two beverages are not Arabica coffees.

These illy aluminum capsules are designed for Nespresso® Original. They do not fit into Nespresso® Vertuo, illy Iperespresso®, Dolce Gusto®, or E.S.E. pod machines.

Model exceptions according to illy: Not suitable for Nespresso® Original models U, Umilk, Expert, Expert&Milk, Prodigio, and Prodigio&Milk if these were purchased after July 25, 2016.

Which roast suits you?

Classico is the balanced choice, Intenso emphasizes a bold profile, and Forte features pronounced roasted notes. For a longer cup, choose Classico Lungo. Decaffeinato offers decaffeinated coffee. You can find this selection in both systems; pay attention to the pack size and system specification of the individual item.

Frequently asked questions about illy coffee capsules

Do all illy capsules fit into every illy machine?

No. The brand alone does not determine compatibility. An Iperespresso machine requires Iperespresso capsules. The Nespresso-compatible aluminum capsules offered here belong to a different system.

Are there capsules for Nespresso Vertuo here?

The illy aluminum capsules in this collection are intended for Nespresso Original, subject to the model exceptions. They do not fit into Vertuo machines.

Is Decaffeinato completely caffeine-free?

What pack sizes are available?

The Nespresso-Original-compatible varieties each contain ten capsules. Iperespresso single packs contain 18 capsules each; the Iperespresso tasting set contains 90 capsules.
