illy Iperespresso® Capsules for Espresso and Lungo

Here you will find illy capsules for the Iperespresso® system: classic roast profiles, decaffeinated coffee, and single-origin coffees from the Arabica Selection. In addition, there are Orzo and Orzo e Ginseng as barley-based drinks. The individual packs contain 18 capsules; the tasting set combines five types of coffee with a total of 90 capsules.

Arabica Selection: Comparing single-origin coffees

The Arabica Selection allows you to experience the differences between growing countries. Arabica Selection Etiopia stands for floral nuances, Arabica Selection Guatemala for body and chocolate notes. Arabica Selection India offers spicy accents, Arabica Selection Brasile emphasizes caramel. Arabica Selection Colombia offers a smooth, rich aroma, while Arabica Selection Costa Rica combines caramel, chocolate, and vanilla. All these single-origin coffees consist of 100% Arabica.

Orzo and Ginseng as coffee alternatives

Orzo is a naturally caffeine-free barley drink. Orzo e Ginseng combines barley and ginseng with a sweet caramel-vanilla profile. Both contain barley and therefore gluten; Orzo e Ginseng also contains milk components. The information on the respective product page and the packaging will help you make your choice.

Choosing the right capsule system

These capsules are designed for illy Iperespresso® machines. They do not fit Nespresso® Original, Nespresso® Vertuo, Dolce Gusto®, or E.S.E. pod machines. Even within the illy brand, there are different systems: the system name of your machine is what matters.

Are Iperespresso® and Nespresso® the same?

No. These are different capsule systems with different capsules. For an Iperespresso machine, please choose the designated Iperespresso capsules.

Which capsules are suitable for Lungo?

Classico Lungo is the variety for a longer espresso. Use the appropriate setting on your machine according to the operating instructions.

Is there a decaffeinated variety?

Yes, Decaffeinato is a decaffeinated Arabica coffee with a maximum of 0.1% caffeine according to illy. Orzo and Orzo e Ginseng, on the other hand, are barley-based drinks and are naturally caffeine-free.

Can I try several varieties together?

The tasting set contains 18 capsules each of Classico, Classico Lungo, Intenso, Forte, and Decaffeinato. You will receive a total of 90 capsules for a direct comparison.
