Description
Cascina del Colle – Villamagna DOC – Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a red wine made from 100% Montepulciano grapes grown in the hills around Villamagna in Abruzzo, Italy. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks and then aged for at least 12 months in oak barrels.
It has a deep red color with violet reflections and a complex bouquet of dark fruits, spices, vanilla, and liquorice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and powerful, with good structure and balanced acidity. The flavors of dark fruits and spices are complemented by notes of tobacco and leather. The finish is long and persistent.
