The coffee roasting company was founded in Bologna in 1919 by two friends, Aldo Filicori and Luigi Zecchini. Today, the company is still family-owned and is already managed by the third generation. And to this day, Filicori has remained true to its long tradition. Only first-class beans are refined according to traditional, typically Italian roasting methods. This means that the beans are roasted separately, gently and slowly in a rotating drum, and then air-cooled. It simply doesn't get any better than that.
Filicori Zecchini is a traditional Italian roaster and has been, then as now, one of the best and most recognized coffee roasters. This is also confirmed by the certification from the "Italian Espresso National Institute". Only roasters whose products meet a certain, very high standard receive this.
