Crema d'Arabia by Nurri Coffee
For Crema d'Arabia, Antonio Nurri blends various washed Arabica varieties, which he processes individually and carefully in his GIESEN drum roaster. The use of washed Arabicas ensures a fine fruity acidity aroma in the coffee or espresso cup. The medium roast level allows these flavor notes to emerge even after roasting, creating a tasteful elegance. The extraordinary composition of the espresso blend provides a special balance of dark berry and almond aromas after roasting.
Antonio Nurri - About the person
Antonio Nurri has long been a familiar name in the coffee industry. After studying philosophy and psychology, he initially worked as an export manager for a coffee roastery. Through his engagement with coffee as a raw material, Nurri discovered a new and fascinating world full of aromas.
After founding his own coffee roastery Nurri Coffee in Naples, Antonio Nurri roasts his darker, Robusta-containing Neapolitan blends in a 120-kilo roaster from Trabattoni. Nurri reserves his 15-kilo roaster from GIESEN exclusively for Arabica specialties, which he roasts with a gentler approach. For each of his roasts, however, aromatic balance and smoothness are the goal.
