The typical Naples blend by Antonio Nurri

Neapolitan coffee roasts are characterized by dark roasting levels. Aromas of nuts, chocolate, and caramel dominate the taste.

Antonio Nurri follows this tradition with Caffè Partenopeo. A coffee that will not be forgotten quickly. Perfect for concluding a hearty meal. Or for the full-bodied kick in between that lingers long after.

Caffè Partenopeo (Caffè Napoletano) by Nurri Coffee

For Caffè Partenopeo, which was previously sold as Caffè Napolitano, Antonio Nurri uses various Central American Arabicas and 20% washed Robusta beans. Roasted individually and gently in his Trabattoni drum roaster, the beans are only blended after roasting. Due to the dark Neapolitan roasting degree, aromas of honey and roasted hazelnuts appear in the espresso cup. The delicate acidity of the Arabicas used ensures the elegant taste.

Antonio Nurri - About the person

Antonio Nurri has long been a familiar name in the coffee industry. After studying philosophy and psychology, he initially worked as an export manager for a coffee roastery. Through his engagement with raw coffee, Nurri discovered a new and fascinating world full of aromas.

After founding his own coffee roastery Nurri Coffee in Naples, Antonio Nurri roasts his darker and Robusta-containing Neapolitan blends in a 120-kilogram Trabattoni roaster. Nurri reserves his 15-kilogram GIESEN roaster exclusively for specialty Arabicas, which he roasts with a more gentle approach. For each of his roasts, however, aromatic balance and smoothness are the goal.

Non-individually packaged ESE Pods

To avoid packaging waste, the ESE pods in this offer variant are not individually packaged. The bag in which the ESE pods are delivered is resealable, so no further oxygen reaches the ESE pods after opening the bag. Simply roll up the bag before sealing to preserve the coffee's aroma. The bag packaging itself is aluminum-free.

Our conclusion: If you are looking for a change of taste, you should prepare Caffè Partenopeo with your pod machine. As Antonio Nurri (?) says: "Once you drink me, you'll want me again."
