History and Production
Officina “5” Caffè, located in Fara San Martino in the Abruzzo region, on the slopes of the Maiella mountain range, is an artisanal roasting company born from the idea of its owners, pasta artisans for generations, to produce high-quality coffee.
Officina 5 bases its production philosophy on the use of selected raw materials sourced from small green coffee producers, and a slow, low-flame roasting of the beans, thanks to the use of old roasters from the 1940s from the Vittoria workshops.
This "recipe" requires great attention and direct involvement from the roasting masters, who monitor all stages visually and olfactorily. This allows Officina 5 Caffè to remain far from the logic of the industrial world, thus maintaining a completely artisanal process.
The final result is a coffee that no one makes anymore, perfectly roasted, digestible, releasing inimitable aromas and flavors... a coffee made the way it used to be!
