It has a special shape, similar to Maltagliati, but with ruffled edges. It is produced by Rustichella d'Abruzzo exclusively from 100% organic wholemeal spelt flour from Abruzzo and Rustichella's traditional artisanal production process, which maintains the pasta's high quality. There are many recipes suitable for this special format: ideal as an accompaniment to a Tondino del Tavo bean soup from the PrimoGrano Rustichella line, seasoned with INTOSSO Extra Virgin Olive Oil, or in the "Viva l'Italia" version by Maria Stefania Peduzzi, RdA owner, who prepares it in a summer version with Pachino cherry tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella, capers, INTOSSO PrimoGrano extra virgin olive oil, and fresh basil.
