Description
This variety consists of 100% Robusta beans and is a tribute to the original Neapolitan coffee. The espresso tastes very intense – as if you were actually in the sun at the foot of Mount Vesuvius. It is very aromatic and has a slight, pleasant acidity. Through dry processing, fruit sugar from the pulp enters the coffee beans, giving the finished coffee more sweetness. The beans are then roasted in a traditional Italian way: slowly and gently. With roasting cycles lasting between 18 and 22 minutes, the aromas can develop better. These beans are roasted rather dark.
