Caffè Verzì – Sicilian coffee with a young history
Caffè Verzì combines Sicilian coffee culture with a relatively young company history. According to their own information, Verzì Caffè started in 2008. The company was founded by Nicola and Pietro Verzì. What began as a small business gradually developed into a modern coffee brand with a wide range of coffee beans, E.S.E. pods, and compatible capsules.
Today, Verzì Caffè is based in Belpasso in the province of Catania, Sicily. The brand combines its Southern Italian roots with modern production and has invested in the further development of its operations, production technologies, and packaging in recent years. The goal is to provide a coffee that reliably retains its typical character and aroma right into the cup.
From Sicily to your espresso cup
The Caffè Verzì range is clearly focused on Italian espresso. The selection ranges from softer and more harmonious blends to strong, Robusta-forward roasts with a distinct body and dense crema. Varieties such as Aroma Dolce, Aroma Intenso, Aroma Ricco, Espresso Gran Crema, and Super Vending cover different taste profiles and preparation systems.
The E.S.E. pods are pre-portioned and intended for machines using the standardized 44 mm E.S.E. system. In addition to Aroma Dolce, Intenso, and Ricco, you will also find Espresso Gran Crema as well as a tasting set for a direct comparison of several blends.
Whole beans for those who prefer to grind their coffee fresh. The selection ranges from Aroma Dolce to Aroma Intenso and Aroma Ricco, all the way to Super Vending. Depending on your preferred settings, the beans are suitable for fully automatic machines and portafilter machines.
For uncomplicated single-servings, we carry Verzì coffee capsules for Nespresso®-compatible machines as well as for the Lavazza Espresso Point® system. The systems are not interchangeable – please always check the compatibility information for the respective product before ordering.
Which Verzì blend is right for me?
Aroma Dolce is aimed more at lovers of a more harmonious coffee. Aroma Intenso is stronger and more expressive, while Aroma Ricco focuses on a full body and long-lasting aroma. Espresso Gran Crema is particularly interesting for anyone looking for a balanced espresso with a dense crema. Those who want to compare different varieties first will find the Verzì tasting set a good introduction to the range.
