Orzo Bimbo ground consists of roasted, ground barley and is the classic Italian alternative to coffee. The coarse grind is specifically suitable for the Moka pot or an Orziera.

Preparation in the Moka pot

Fill the filter about halfway with Orzo Bimbo and do not press it down. Then prepare as usual with the Moka pot. For the Orziera, the manufacturer recommends about one spoonful per cup.

Also suitable as an infusion

For a barley infusion, add about 2 tablespoons to 500 ml of boiling water, bring to a brief boil again, let settle, and then filter.
