Mokaflor Coffee from Florence – Italian roasting tradition since 1950
Mokaflor is a traditional coffee roastery from Florence that has stood for Italian espresso culture since 1950. At La Bottega del Caffè, you will find a versatile selection of Mokaflor coffee – from whole coffee beans and ground coffee to E.S.E. pods in the 44 mm format.
The range extends from fine 100% Arabica coffees to particularly strong Robusta blends. This allows you to select the right Mokaflor variety based on your coffee machine, desired intensity, and personal taste.
What makes Mokaflor special?
A special feature of the Florentine roastery is the separate roasting of different coffee origins. Instead of roasting all beans in a blend together, each origin is treated with its own profile. It is only after roasting that the individual coffees are combined into their respective blends.
This allows Mokaflor to purposefully utilize the different characteristics of Arabica and Robusta coffees – from floral delicacy and sweetness to full body, intense aromatics, and dense crema.
Mokaflor range at La Bottega del Caffè
Mokaflor coffee beans – for portafilter machines, fully automatic coffee machines, and fresh grinding
Mokaflor ground coffee – practical for those who wish to prepare coffee without their own grinder
Mokaflor coffee beans – from fine to very strong
Among the Mokaflor coffee beans, you will find various Arabica-Robusta ratios and therefore very different flavor profiles. Arabica-rich blends like Nera, Bernini, or Oro place greater emphasis on aromatic delicacy and sweetness. Rossa and Blu offer more body and intensity, while Dolce Forte, as a 100% Robusta blend, is particularly strong and creamy.
The whole beans are particularly suitable for portafilter machines and fully automatic coffee machines. Those who wish to compare different profiles directly can also find a Mokaflor tasting set containing several 250g packs.
Mokaflor E.S.E. pods 44 mm
The Mokaflor E.S.E. pods allow for straightforward espresso preparation without grinding, dosing, or tamping. The pods are intended for compatible E.S.E. machines in the common 44 mm format.
Choices include Dolce Arabica, Gran Crema, Bio Organic, and Decaffeinato. Thus, the E.S.E. range extends from fine Arabica to stronger blends as well as organic and decaffeinated varieties.
Mokaflor ground coffee
Those who do not wish to use their own coffee grinder can find ground Mokaflor coffee in several classic blends. These include Arabica-rich variants as well as strong espresso profiles. Which preparation method fits best depends on the respective product and grind size.

Fine & aromatic: 100% Arabica variants like Miscela Nera or Bernini
Balanced & creamy: Miscela Oro with a high Arabica content
Strong & full-bodied: Miscela Rossa or Miscela Blu

Mokaflor for espresso, cappuccino & caffè crema
Depending on the blend, Mokaflor is suitable for classic espresso, caffè crema, and milk-based drinks like cappuccino or latte macchiato. Particularly full-bodied blends with a higher Robusta content remain clearly present even when combined with milk. Arabica-rich varieties, on the other hand, are suitable for coffee drinkers who value delicate aromatics and balance.
