Profine Perfetto – Limescale protection for coffee machines with water tanks

Profine Perfetto is a water treatment system for coffee machines with a tank. The filter pad uses ion-exchange resin to reduce water hardness minerals that can cause limescale deposits when heated.

It is very easy to use: simply place the pad directly into the water tank; no electricity or additional connections are required. Profine Perfetto is suitable for, among others, portafilter, E.S.E. pod, capsule, and filter coffee machines with a tank.

Which Profine Perfetto size do I need?

Profine Perfetto Small

For smaller coffee machines and water tanks up to approximately 2 liters.

Profine Perfetto Medium

For water tanks up to approximately 3 liters, making it suitable for many classic household portafilter machines and other tank-fed models.

Profine Perfetto Large

For larger water tanks over approximately 3 liters or applications with a higher tank volume.

How does Profine Perfetto work?

Use in the water tank

Wet the filter pad completely, place it flat in the clean tank, and fill the tank with fresh water. During use, Perfetto should remain fully submerged if possible.

Service life & water hardness

The actual service life depends on the water hardness and water consumption. The harder the water, the faster the available ion-exchange capacity will be depleted. Therefore, local water hardness should be taken into account when determining the replacement interval.
