Profine Perfetto Large – Limescale protection for coffee machines with water tanks
Profine Perfetto Large is a limescale protection filter pouch for coffee machines with water tanks. The system uses ion-exchange resin to reduce the hardness minerals responsible for limescale deposits before the water enters the boiler or heating system.
The Large version is intended for larger water tanks of approx. 3 liters and up. The filter pouch is placed directly into the water tank without any additional connections, making it suitable for many portafilter, E.S.E. pod, capsule, and other coffee machines with a removable tank.

Application
- Remove the filter pouch from the protective packaging.
- Fully saturate with cold water.
- Place it flat in the clean water tank.
- Fill the tank with fresh tap water and keep the pouch as fully submerged as possible during use.
When should Profine Perfetto be replaced?
The actual service life depends on the water hardness, water consumption, and duration of use. The harder the water and the higher the consumption, the faster the ion-exchange capacity is depleted. If the machine is left standing for long periods, the tank water should be refreshed.
