Profine Perfetto Small is a limescale protection filter pouch for coffee machines with a water tank. The system works with ion exchange resin and reduces the hardening agents responsible for limescale deposits in the water before it enters the boiler or heating system.
The Small version is intended for smaller water tanks up to approx. 2 liters. The filter pouch is placed directly into the water tank without any additional connection, making it suitable for many portafilter, E.S.E. pod, capsule, and other coffee machines with a removable tank.

Application
- Remove the filter pouch from its protective packaging.
- Wet it completely with cold water.
- Place it flat in the clean water tank.
- Fill the tank with fresh tap water and keep the pouch as completely submerged as possible during use.
When should Profine Perfetto be replaced?
The actual service life depends on water hardness, water consumption, and duration of use. The harder the water and the higher the consumption, the faster the ion exchange capacity is exhausted. If left standing for long periods, the tank water should be replaced.

When heated, calcium and magnesium compounds can deposit as limescale. These deposits stress boilers, valves, and water lines. A suitable water treatment system can reduce limescale formation and thus contribute to the long-term maintenance of the machine.
