Profine Perfetto Medium – Limescale protection for coffee machines with a water tank
Profine Perfetto Medium is a limescale protection filter pouch for coffee machines with a water tank. The system uses ion exchange resin to reduce the hardness-forming minerals responsible for limescale deposits in the water before it reaches the boiler or heating system.
The Medium version is intended for water tanks up to approx. 3 liters. The filter pouch is placed directly into the water tank without the need for additional connections, making it suitable for many portafilter, E.S.E. pod, capsule, and other coffee machines with a removable tank.

Usage
- Remove the filter pouch from the protective packaging.
- Thoroughly wet it with cold water.
- Place it flat in the clean water tank.
- Fill the tank with fresh tap water and keep the pouch as fully submerged as possible during use.
When should Profine Perfetto be replaced?
The actual service life depends on water hardness, water consumption, and duration of use. The harder the water and the higher the consumption, the faster the ion exchange capacity will be exhausted. In case of longer periods of inactivity, the tank water should be refreshed.
